HR Administrator | Permanent, full time
Ko wai mātou? | About us
Te Puna Ora o Mātaatua is the leading regional Māori health and wellbeing provider in the country. Established in 1991, Te Puna Ora o Mātaatua delivers an integrated range of community health, general medical, homebased, and social services within the Mātaatua rohe.
Te tūnga | The role
Our hardworking kaimahi are out there on the front line delivering services to vulnerable whānau day in day out, and the aim of the HR team is to awhi our kaimahi and managers to enable them to do what they do best. Ka pai ki muri, ka pai ki mua, ka pai ngā mea katoa!
We’re looking for someone who is great with people and very IT-savvy. Someone who makes tikanga Māori an everyday practice at work and is aligned to the values set out in our cultural framework, Te Poutokomanawa o Te Puna Ora.
Based in Whakatane, the mahi will include:
- Co-ordinating all the admin related to recruitment, including processing applications for employment, arranging interviews, and making sure that each and every application is handled confidentially and efficiently
- Maintaining our electronic files and databases
- Managing our internal processes, document templates, and general administration support to our team of five.
Ngā pūkenga me whai | Your skills and experience
As you can see, this role has a lot to do with handling sensitive information so it is absolutely paramount that our HR Administrator has a strong sense of confidentiality and a high work ethic.
The mahi is demanding but rewarding, and at times super-busy so for that reason we need someone with solid admin experience. Some experience in a similar role would be a bonus, but not essential.
For a confidential discussion, contact Tanira Raureti, HR Manager on 021 033 0020.
To apply, please complete our online application form on our website by Friday, 14th June 2024.
