Rehua Medical tākuta recognised with prestigious award

Ko te manu e kai ana i te miro nōnā te ngahere, ko te manu e kai ana i te mātauranga nōna te ao.
Our Medical Director and tākuta at Rehua Medical, Jethro LeRoy has been honored with The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners President’s Service Medal in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Te Whare Tohu Rata o Aotearoa and the field of general practice.
Jethro has been a part of Te Puna Ora o Mataatua and Rehua Medical for five years as our Medical Director. He has been integral in building the largest primary care platform across Whakatāne and Mataatua negotiating clinical complexities in high areas of deprivation and inequity. This was recognised when Te Puna Ora o Mataatua received the Equity Award at the NZ Primary Care Awards in 2022.
E rere ana ngā mihi ki a koe i tēnei tāonga whakahirahira.
