We provide Whānau Ora services across Whakatāne.

We are members of the Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency and the Eastern Bay of Plenty Whānau Ora Collective.

We design and implement plans with whānau to help them over come obstacles and/or achieve greater independence.

Our service | Ā Mātou Ratonga

We design Whānau ora intervention plans that achieve greater independence. It is a strength-based approach that looks at six main components:
  • Education
  • Employment
  • Relationships
  • Financial Literacy
  • Health/Housing
  • Cultural Knowledge
Whānau Ora places whānau at the core of all decision making. Whānau become the leaders of their goals and aspirations that they set out. Whānau Ora is all about empowering and improving the well-being of whānau with a holistic approach rather than focusing separately on individual family members. It is about working with the entire whanau, hapū, iwi and other organisations.

Whānau Direct

This fund is available to assist our whānau to access financial recourses when it matters the most to whānau—with the intention of making a positive difference for whānau.

This fund is about helping whānau to achieve positive outcomes such as becoming self-managing, living healthy lifestyles and being financially secure.
